A lot of fans of the popular American drama comedy series "Gilmore Girls" are excited to hear the news that the seven season-long TV series is getting a revival. Netflix previously announced that "Gilmore Girls" will be back for a new chapter with all episodes available for binge-watching in the online streaming media. However, aside from the new and returning cast members and the possible episode titles, there has been no confirmed release date of the new season.

Despite the lack of information about the upcoming revival season, "Gilmore Girls" lead actress Lauren Cohen may have unknowingly revealed the premiere of the new season on Netflix. Graham was one of the guests of "The Ellen Degeneres Show" on May 23. She mostly talked about her upcoming book titled "Talking as Fast as You Can," although her appearance last Monday also brought up the much anticipated "Gilmore Girls" revival season. During the interview, Cohen said that her new book will be released "concurrently" with the premiere of new "Gilmore Girls" episodes. With this statement, people expect that the revival season of "Gilmore Girls" will be out a few days before Cohen's book launch.

According to a report from Bustle, the initial release date of Cohen's book is on Nov. 22. However, Penguin Random House, the publication house of the book, has changed the details of the book launch on their website. The book is now expected to be released on Nov. 29. The sudden change in schedule is speculated to have something to do with the forthcoming "Gilmore Girls" season. Netflix shows usually come out on Fridays, and the new release date of "Talking as Fast as You Can" falls on a Tuesday. In this case, the most likely premiere date of "Gilmore Girls" revival is on Nov. 25, which is a Friday.

The original run of the "Gilmore Girls" series was from Oct. 5, 2000, to May 15, 2007. The show tells the story of the mother-and-daughter tandem of Lorelei (Cohen) and Rory (Alexis Bledel) Gilmore as they search for true love and happiness with the right mixture of drama and comedy. The story unfolds in the fictional town in Connecticut.

TVLine reported that the "Gilmore Girls" revival will be composed of four 90-minute episodes, and each episode will represent a different season in a year: summer, fall, winter, and spring.

Aside from Graham and Bledel, Scott Patterson, Kelly Bishop, Sean Gunn, and Keiko Agena are also confirmed to be part of the revival, Entertainment Weekly reported.
