Google Nexus 2016 release date, specs news update: Huawei to manufacture the Nexus 2016?

The Google Nexus 2016 has become one of the most talked about upcoming smartphones this year. According to reports, the American search engine company is still waiting for the full version of the Android N operating system before they make the new flagship device official. The company is said to be working so hard these days to make sure they finished the new OS without that much of an issue so they can start launching a new set of Google Nexus models. However, there are speculations suggesting that the new Nexus 2016 device may come out without a full version Android N pre-installed.

Apparently, the upcoming device will run on a layered version of the highly anticipated Android N, according to a report by BGR. Nonetheless, the reports have yet to be confirmed by Google. Sundar Pichai, Google CEO, said during the Code Conference that there are still a lot to be added to the Nexus phones or even to the Android software. The company will continue to work for more software innovation they can use in the future.

The CEO also confirms that Google will still continue to partner with other manufacturers to build the devices for them. Apparently, hardware manufacturing is not part of their future plans.

Meanwhile, according to PC Advisor, Huawei has reportedly confirmed that they will be making the Google Nexus 2016. However, many fans believe that HTC will also be making another Nexus device this year. The publication also added that Huawei is certainly committed to bringing the best Nexus device to the market to improve user experience.

"We are proud to have worked with Google, which is strong in innovation, on the Nexus 6P and will continue to collaborate in the future, such as our support for Daydream, the recently-announced platform for high-performance mobile VR," Huawei said in a report by PC Advisor.
