The upcoming GoPro Hero 5 has been a subject of numerous rumors and speculations ever since the current iteration came out last year. Many fans expected the next generation GoPro action camera to come out this year; however, the company has yet to provide significant details with regard to its development and release date. Nonetheless, several leaks and rumors have emerged on the Internet revealing its specs and features.

Previous report suggested that the new GoPro Hero 5 will most likely be compatible with the company's first ever drone device, the Karma Drone. According to a report by The Verge, GoPro may introduce the drone at a press event on Sept. 19. Although the company has yet to provide the official details about its release date, GoPro has recently posted a teaser video on Twitter with a caption, "Change is in the air. Earlier rumors suggested that the upcoming Karma Drone and GoPro Hero 5 have the capability to support 1080p and 4k display. According to the latest buzz, the fifth iteration of the popular GoPro action camera is expected to have the capabilities to record on 4K, 2.7K and 1140p at 60 and 80 frames per second.

In a report by ValueWalk, GoPro Hero 5 users can also shoot videos in full high definition at 120 frames per second. Other expected features of the device include a 1220 mAh battery, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. There are also speculations suggesting that GoPro Hero 5 may carry a GPS feature to help track its geolocation.

Meanwhile, it has been reported that GoPro Hero 5 may also come with a Voice Command feature. If rumors prove to be true, the new feature would certainly help provide better user experience for interested Hero 5 buyers.

As of the moment, fans will have to wait for the company to make an official announcement. All rumors and speculations must be taken with a grain of salt.
