The fifth season of "Grimm" wrapped up with an action-packed finale along with Meisner's shocking death, and now viewers are curious about what the future holds for the Scooby Gang.

The season 5 finale saw Nick survive several gunshots because of a magical healing stick. The stick might have helped him that time, but will it cause danger in the future? Nick's portrayer David Giuntoli caught up with TV Insider where he explained that along with the viewers, the gang is still figuring out what the stick can really do. "Nick survived a barrage of bullets through his chest and only he knows he's invincible at this point," Giuntoli said. "But we don't know much more, like what kind of evil this stick could be used for if it falls into the wrong hands. He just puts that crazy stick back in his pocket. Is he going to tell the rest of the gang? We'll see."

Meanwhile, there are talks about Juliette's possible comeback in the forthcoming season. Nick had a glimpse of Juliette in the middle of the huge mess in the season 5 finale, and it remains to be seen if she will be back for good. He already has a family of his own, and Juliette's return in Nick's life will make season 6 more complicated for both of them.

NBC recently confirmed that the show will have a trimmed order of 13 episodes when it arrives later this year. Giuntoli stressed that despite the reduced order, more episodes can be added depending on the show's ratings performance. The actor also assured fans that if this will be the farewell season, the writers will definitely give the closure everyone needs.

Will this be the show's farewell season? What kind of trouble will Nick and the gang face? Find out the answers when "Grimm" season 6 returns sometime in the Fall on NBC.
