MacBook Pro 2016 rumors, updates: Apple to release 3 laptop models in June

There have been reports that the 2016 version of MacBook Pro will be launched sometimes this year, and the earliest date of the launching would be in June. Avid fans of Apple's technology will be excited to hear the rumors that the latest MacBook Pro will be released in not just one particular size, but three, all for the buyers to choose from. The three different MacBook Pro sizes reported to be released this year are the 15-inch, 13-inch and 12-inch designs. 

Regarding the upcoming 2016 MacBook Pro specs, the microprocessor chip rumored by most of the Apple tech enthusiasts to power up the newest thin-air Macintosh laptop is the latest generation Intel Skylake, as reported by Digital Trends. Having Skylake chipset to power up the laptop is said to ensure improved laptop performance, enhance the power efficiency and decrease the need of thicker laptop.

It has been a trend for the new upgraded laptop designs from different electronic companies to use Intel Skylake processor, and Apple using the brand new Skylake for MacBook Pro 2016 will not be a far-fetched idea. Other brands that have used Intel Skylake are Microsoft, HP and Dell, among others.

USB-C ports on MacBook Pro 2016 has also been rumored as a latest feature from Apple. However, at first it was reported that Apple is limiting the number and sizes of USB ports to keep the size of the laptop as thin as possible, although latest rumors as reported by Apple Insider have noted that MacBook Pro 2016 may be acknowledging the need of laptop users to place multiple drivers or devices to their MacBook so the 2016 version will feature additional USB-C type of adapters.

The initial release date rumors had pointed to the March press event of Apple for the Macbook Pro 2016 launching. However, it was known that the company had dedicated the event for the unveiling of their new iPhone designs, specifically the old but improved model rehash, iPhone SE.

There are presently two available MacBook Pro models in the market. Buyers can choose between the MacBook Pro 13-inch and 15-inch laptop. The present 15-inch design of MacBook Pro was released in March 2015 while the recently updated 15-inch design was released in May 2015. The rumor that the present MacBook Pro laptops will be having an upgrade this year began when Apple started giving away big discounts for the MacBook Pro models that are currently in the market. It was thought as a way for the company to make way for their new set of laptop designs this year.
