The upcoming episode of "Naruto Shippuden" will show the continuation of the great battle of Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura and Kakashi against the final villain of the series, Kaguya Otsutsuki. The previous Episode 472 featured a very heartbreaking scene where Obito tried to help Naruto and his group to bring back Sasuke. However, this act made Kaguya mad enough to attack him.

As recapped by International Business Times, it appears that Obito paid the price for messing up with the demon goddess Kaguya. The villain tried to isolate Sasuke from the rest of the group by using her advanced jutsu to trap him in a separate dimension. It will be harder for Naruto to defeat Kaguya and seal her away once and for all unless Sasuke is there with him to fight the villain. Fortunately, Obito has a special technique to enter Kaguya's dimensions, but it was proven to be a hard feat to bypass a single dimension.

With the help of Sakura and Naruto's shadow clone, Obito was able to reach Sasuke in a distant dimension and brough him back. Kaguya was definitely pissed as there was somebody else who could perform a technique that is almost identical to hers. In a fit of rage, Kaguya launched a killing bone spear towards Obito. He was hit by the bone spear, and as a result, his body slowly deteriorated until he was finally reduced into ashes.

Obito was initially a villain in the series, and it was not until the final arc of "Naruto Shippuden" that he decided to do the right thing for Naruto and the rest of the group. Many fans were saddened by Obito's last act of kindness, although IBT speculated that the anime series may have him back alive in the next episode titled "The Sharingan Revived."

Nevertheless, Kakashi is expected to retaliate after Obito's death. According to Movie News Guide, he will awaken his Susanoo using the combined Sharingan of the fallen Obito and his own left eye. However, it is not known whether Kakashi's new technique will be enough to take down a villain as powerful as Kaguya.
