Sasuke will once again take the spotlight when "Naruto Shippuden" returns for its 484th episode.

The Japanese anime series is reportedly going on a brief hiatus and will be presenting a brand new arc on its return. The next episode will be based on one of the three epilogue novels that have earlier been reported to get an anime adaptation.

Titled "Sasuke's Story: Sunrise, Part 1: The Exploding Human," the episode will follow Sasuke on his journey of atonement after his battle with Naruto. With only the Sharingan in his right eye and the Rinnegan in his left to serve as his guide, he goes off on a path of self-discovery with hopes of gaining a brighter view of the world.

Sasuke's story will reportedly run for four episodes wherein he would come across some people and experiences that would help shape the man that he will soon become. Will he succeed in his personal mission? Will his experiences help change the way he sees the world, or end up throwing him off towards a darker path?

After Sasuke's epilogue story, two other novels are set to be adapted for television: one that deals with Shikamaru's journey and another that deals with the history of Konoha. These filler episodes, along with the recently concluded "Boyhood Arc," are said to be necessary building blocks towards the next chapter of the long-running anime series.

Fans have also been wondering if these episodes will ultimately lead to Boruto's arc. It has earlier been rumored that Naruto's son will have his own anime adaptation, although no scheduled date of release has been announced yet.

The next episode of "Naruto Shippuden" is expected to air on Thursday, Dec. 1. Episode 485 titled "Sasuke's Story: Sunrise, Part 2: Coliseum" will air the following week.

The 50th issue of the "Weekly Shounen Jump" magazine, which is scheduled to come out on Monday, Nov. 14, will reportedly share more details about the upcoming episodes of "Naruto Shippuden."
