There have been reports that say the next episodes of "Naruto Shippuden" will focus on the story of Sasuke Uchiha's journey of atonement. However, the episodes will not air until two weeks from the last installment of the Boyhood arc.

"Naruto Shippuden" episodes 484 and 485, as reported by Saiyan Island, will adapt its story from the novel "Sasuke Shinden: Book of Sunrise" that was originally released in Japan last year. The novel featured the story of Sasuke's exploration of Princess Kaguya Otsotsuki, the first wielder of chakra on Earth.

The "Naruto Shippuden" Sasuke arc is expected to pick up right where episode 479 left off. As a recap, the last scenes of episode 479 featured Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke in which the latter chose not to stay in Konoha and go on a journey to atone for his sins.

Saiyan Island also mentioned in the same report that episode 484 will be titled "Sasuke Shinden: Book of Sunrise — the Detonating Man" while episode 485 will be titled "Sasuke Shinden: Book of Sunrise — Colosseum." There are also unconfirmed reports that Sasuke's arc will take up to four episodes.

As for the Sasuke arc's air date, episode 484 will be aired on Dec. 1 while episode 485 hits the small screen on Dec. 8 on Fuji TV.

Meanwhile, another much-awaited "Naruto Shippuden" arc is the story of the titular character's son, Boruto. There are reports that Boruto's story might not be shown in its anime form until mid-2017.

Sasuke's arc comes after the four-episode Boyhood arc that covered childhood stories. Episode 480 covered Naruto's rough childhood and Hinata Hyuga's backstory and how she first met Naruto, her future husband. Episode 481 featured Sasuke's childhood and relationship with his brother and Sakura Haruno's story of struggling about her appearance and developing feelings for Sasuke.

The following episode covered the childhood stories of Gaara and Shikamaru Nara. And the final Boyhood arc episode, 483rd of the anime series, featured the earlier days of Naruto's most important mentors — master Jiraiya and future sixth Hokage Kakashi Hatake.
