As the Golden State Warriors look for redemption, it appears that they are running the risk of losing some of their core players.

With the addition of Kevin Durant in the lineup, the Warriors already lost a lot of their initial core players like Andrew Bogut and Harrison Barnes. However, they might risk losing more and this time it could cost them one of their star players.

Talks have slowly surfaced that Klay Thompson may be seeing his way out of the team as there is unrest among the star players. Since Durant's arrival, many have looked at Thompson as the man who will sacrifice a lot of scoring.

Stephen Curry is the two-time Most Valuable Player and will get the looks and shots he wants, while Draymond Green is used to playing smashmouth basketball which means he will just get the shots given to him.

This spells trouble for Thompson who also wants to put up a lot of shots in a game. However, with another superstar sharing the ball, his numbers are likely to drop.

Looking at his numbers, Thompson used to average around 17 shots per game. In the early part of the season, it has slightly dropped to 16 and now, his averages have dropped. At the moment he's poor from beyond the arc where he used to average around the mid at 40 percent.

The Milwaukee Bucks have been one of the teams linked to pick up Thompson and are rumored to be ready to give up their young stars Khris Middleton and Jabari Parker.

These are all speculations and many things can happen in the coming months, but if the Warriors are unable to find common ground among their superstars, it may be Thompson who will be shown the door so he can carry a team on his own.
