Anna Kolcheck (Bar Paly) will be back in the next episode of "NCIS: Los Angeles" season 8, "Tidings We Bring," to celebrate the holidays with the team and possibly, her ex-boyfriend, Callen (Chris O'Donnell).

But before getting into the holiday spirit, Anna and the team will first investigate the disappearance of Navy Lieutenant Commander, Jennifer Morgan (Brea Bee) in "NCIS: LA" season 8, episode 11.

The victim's affiliation with the National Security Agency (NSA) specifically with foreign cyber-threats appears to have something to do with it and this is something the team will have to figure out.

Paly returned this season in "Ghost Gun," in which she worked with Callen and did such a great job that Granger (Miguel Ferrer) wanted to have her back in the future. She then popped up in "Home Is Where the Heart Is."

For "NCIS: LA" season 8, episode 11, however, Anna will team up with Sam (LL Cool J) while Callen will go with Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen).

It is interesting that the former lovers are going their separate ways for this mission. Last time they worked together, there was a lot of flirtation going on and it will be interesting to see how they will interact this time.

The promotional stills from "NCIS: LA" season 8, episode 11 show that the team is ecstatic to be able to work with Anna again as well as celebrate Christmas with her.

It also looks like Kensi (Daniela Ruah) will take part in the holiday revelry as one of the NCIS: LA" season 8, episode 11 images shows her hanging out with Eric (Barrett Foa).

Kensi has made monumental progress in the previous episodes, and it looks like she will be back in action in no time. It is believed that she could be back on the field in the episodes for next year.

"NCIS: LA" season 8, episode 11, "Tidings We Bring," airs Sunday, Dec. 18, at 8:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
