The most non-violent daughter of Big Mom is about to change the game for everyone in the next chapter of the Japanese manga series, "One Piece."

The previous chapter titled "Goodbye" saw Sanji's bride-to-be, Pudding, visiting the imprisoned Luffy and Nami with a revelation and a decision that could drastically shift everybody's fate, most especially her own.

What is Pudding planning to do? Will "One Piece" chapter 849 see her running away from Whole Cake Island the same way her sister Lola did before her? Will she go on a quest to find Lola and live the rest of her life with her as an outcast of the Charlotte family? Or will this decision endanger her safety; perhaps even take away her life just when she has just decided to live it on her own terms?

Whatever it was that Pudding told Luffy and Nami at the end of chapter 848 shocked the two Straw Hat pirates speechless before a deeply anxious Luffy demanded Pudding to explain herself. However, the teary-eyed goodbye that Pudding said in reply could only mean that she has already made up her mind and was prepared for whatever consequences her next step could bring.

Big Mom sure is in for some big surprises in the future chapters of "One Piece." In addition to the intruders raiding her Treasure Room, the wedding that has put her in such a great mood is about to get toast. This will most certainly bring Big Mom's full wrath down on Luffy and the rest of the Straw Hats. The deal she made with Sanji about letting his friends stay alive will undoubtedly be off as well. What tragic fate is about to befall Pudding and the Straw Hat pirates?

There's a speculation that Pudding's decision to choose Sanji's true happiness over her own was fueled by the fact that she has fallen deeply in love with Sanji and wants nothing but the best for the guy who would willingly give up his own happiness for his friends.

Meanwhile, "One Piece" will be celebrating its 20th year anniversary next year and creator Eiichiro Oda, along with the "Weekly Shounen Jump" magazine, are planning an entire year's worth of surprises, starting with a special spine on each magazine issue that will feature a mini-chronicle reminiscing the long-running manga series' development from its first chapter back in 1997 to how the story has evolved since then.

A new chapter of "One Piece" comes out every Monday on the "Weekly Shounen Jump" magazine.
