Niantic has not yet revealed any official information or details about the upcoming smartphone augmented reality (AR) game "Pokemon GO." The mobile game developer company has kept mum over the past several weeks and months regarding the gameplay and features of the game, more so the exact release date of the anticipated Pokemon game. However, allegedly leaked information and pictures have started rushing in that sparked rumors and speculations among the Pokemon game enthusiasts. The leaking of details happened following the announcement that the beta field testing will be extended to Australia and New Zealand.

The first rounds of beta testing were held in Japan, where beta version of "Pokemon GO" was released only among limited chosen individuals who will try the game and watch out for any glitch or errors present in the prototype game. They are expected to report their observations and suggest any details they have in mind to improve the quality of the game.

Even before the beta testing can be done in areas outside Japan, leaked video and photos were shared all over the internet which claim to include information about the gameplay and features of "Pokemon GO," although Niantic remained silent to neither confirm nor deny any of the leaked information. It is also not confirmed whether the leaked graphics are from the recently conducted beta field tests in Japan.

The most apparent information from the rumored leaks is that "Pokemon GO" will allow the smartphone users to come face to face with a wild Pokemon they will randomly meet along the way, and they will also be able to capture it using a PokeBall. However, based on the leaks, the users may not be able to fight a wild Pokemon, although Tech Times reported Niantic saying that the players will be able to fight other Pokemon trainers in a gym match.
