Capcom has revealed the PC system requirements and the pre-order details of their upcoming horror shooter video game, "Resident Evil 7." Due to the impressive contents, particularly the virtual reality (VR) support of the game, the requirements of the latest "Resident Evil" installment may be greater than the previous titles.

Yibada listed all the minimum and recommended system specs of "Resident Evil 7," although these may still be changed in time as Capcom is still gearing up for the release of the game early next year. "Resident Evil 7" is expected to run smoothly in Windows operating systems (OS) such as Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, and Windows 10. As for the core specs of the player's computer, the minimum requirements include Intel Core i5-4460 processor 2.70 GHz or AMD FX-6300, having 8 GB of RAM. For the graphics, the game will work with Nvidia GeForce GTX 760 or AMD Radeon R7 260x. It is also important to have DirectX Version 11 installed, plus a 1080P CPU/GPU that allows at least 30fps frame rate.

For the gamers to get the best visual experience while playing "Resident Evil 7," it is recommended that the PC should have an Intel Core i7 3770 3.4 GHz processor or its AMD-equivalent chipset, 8 GB RAM, Nvidia GeForce GTX 960 or AMD Radeon R9 280X, plus a 1080P CPU/GPU that will allow frame rate of up to 60fps.

As of now, the pre-orders for "Resident Evil 7" is now available on the Xbox One console, including the Standard and Deluxe Editions of the game. Some of the contents of the Standard Edition include a Survival Pack that a collection of herbs, first aid meds and a Defense coin. The Deluxe Edition also has the Survival Pack and the first three DLCs of the game.

Meanwhile, Capcom revealed that the advanced technology used in developing "Resident Evil 7" is one of the reasons why the game has been delayed. As reported by iTech Post, Capcom used the world's largest scale 3D scanning systems to create every content present in the game. It also took a lot of time and effort from the developers to add the virtual reality (VR) features of the game, and those who have the PlayStation VR headset for their PS4 consoles can enjoy the game with its full VR support.

"Resident Evil 7" will be released on Jan. 14, 2017 in PS4, Xbox One and PC platforms.
