Following the release of Samsung's flagship smartphone, Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge, fans and critics have shifted their focus on the next big release. Many tech observers believe that the next product of the company will be the Samsung Galaxy Note 6. Although this has not yet been confirmed by the Korean tech giant, reports are already circulating that the device will be rolled out this summer 2016.

Speculations about its specs and features have also already made it to several online tech publications. SamMobile reported that the upcoming iteration will boast impressive specs under the hood. It is also said that the device will sport a unique exterior, which is going to surprise a lot of people when it hits the market.

Rumor has it that the device will have two versions – one with a flat screen and one with a curved screen. According to reports, both variants will have 2560 x 1440 Quad HD resolutions. The new device is said to be sporting a 5.8-inch screen, which is an inch larger than its predecessor.

One other feature that would surely bring a positive impact to consumers is the battery. According to reports, the new device will have a 4,000 mAh battery, which is pretty impressive considering that Galaxy Note 5 had 3220 mAh battery.

The device will be powered by Snapdragon 823 processor from Qualcomm and Exynos 8890 chip. Many believe that it will carry 6 GB of RAM, along with its 32 GB of onboard storage capacity. Rumor has it that some of the features found on the current Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge will be included in the list of features from the Samsung Galaxy Note 6. These are the water-resistance feature, wireless charging and the expanded storage capacity through a microSD card.

With all the hype surrounding the development of Galaxy Note 6, Samsung has yet to make any official statement.
