In the wake of the highly-successful game "Star Wars: Battlefront," it seems that EA is sticking to their guns and recently teased fans with news that a sequel of the game will hit the shelves soon.

Released on different platforms, "Star Wars: Battlefront" was a big hit towards gamers that it came as no surprise that a second game will come. The question of how soon the game will follow is now up for debates.

The plan was revealed at the recent EA Play conference, with developer DICE leading the way for the second game.

It is important to note that DICE is collaborating with Motive Studios, a production team being led by "Assassin's Creed" producer Jade Raymond. This news makes even more sense as many people are hoping for a more developed game this time around.

In the press conference, there has also been news that the game will have content from the more recent "Star Wars" movies, giving rise to people being able to relate to the game after only watching the movies recently.

"Next year, you'll get a new installment of Star Wars Battlefront, and we're listening to the fans, and will add new content including content from the new films," Raymond said.

Many are speculating about the fact that they are listening to fans as having a single-player content as many complained of that part missing in the first "Star Wars: Battlefront" game.

There were lots of online components, but a single campaign is still one of the best things to have in a console game, giving fans the chance to go through a whole story on their own and doing so at their own pace.

More news should be coming up regarding the development of "Star Wars: Battlefront 2," so stay tuned for more updates.
