'Star Wars: Episode 8' plot spoilers news: New leak hints Luke's greater power and epic confrontation of Jedi

Unlike "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," its sequel "Star Wars: Episode 8" is expected to feature a lot more of Jedi master Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill).

Luke has been in hiding ever since he failed on his teaching, but the hero from the galaxy far, far away hasn't lost his flair one bit, according to a new leak from a Reddit user who shares an alleged scene from "Star Wars: Episode 8" involving Rey (Daisy Ridley) and Kylo Ren (Adam Driver):

A few weeks ago they blew up, specifically, blew apart, an Ahch-To hut. According to my source, Kylo and Rey have a conversation that Luke does not like. Luke tries to stop them. Luke gets angry...And the whole hut they are in disintegrates (re: 'blows up'). My source did not specify as to the exact cause of the disintegration, but based on the info I believe Luke accidentally (or perhaps even purposely) does so using the Force.

Ahch-To hut will serve as the Jedi temple in "Star Wars: Episode 8" and Kylo Ren inevitably finds himself there at some point in the film. From there, the scene about Luke's outburst happens.

There's no way of knowing for sure if this scene will be in "Star Wars: Episode 8." If it will be, it will definitely be an exciting way to demonstrate the power that Luke has earned over the course of three decades after "Return of the Jedi."

Media outlets also believe that it will be exciting to see Luke, Rey and Kylo Ren— all force-sensitive beings—in some sort of confrontation.

The same Reddit user also claims that a character from "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" will get a taste of what the leakster called the "Skywalker Special." There was no explanation provided about what that means or what it is.

"Star Wars: Episode 8 is currently in production. The film releases Dec. 15, 2017.
