'Steven Universe' Season 4 air date, news, spoilers: Steven's powers begin to manifest; 'Gem Harvest' to air this Nov. 7?

The fourth season of "Steven Universe" is expected to make its much-awaited comeback this November, featuring new characters and storylines that will further excite the viewers. So far, the reports suggest that "Steven Universe" Season 4 will begin airing again during the first week of the month.

As reported by News Everyday, "Steven Universe" is rumored to return around Thanksgiving, or on November 25 to be exact. However, it has been rumored in the Reddit forums that the new episodes will be aired starting on November 7, a few weeks earlier than thought. Nevertheless, this would be a great news for those waiting for the show's return. To recall, "Steven Universe" entered an indefinite hiatus after Episode 7 sometime in September, sprouting rumors that its home studio, Cartoon Network, may have already canceled the series. It appears that the sudden break is just brief and the next episode will be aired in the coming days.

Furthermore, the online publication reported that the eighth episode of "Steven Universe" Season 4 will be titled "Gem Harvest," where Steven and his friends will encounter new characters and an interesting new twist. It is also rumored that Steven will now be shown in his mature self, plus his innate powers will begin to manifest. This will be an exciting development in the series so far as many fans have always wanted to see Steven learning to use his powers, being the half-boy, half-gem that he is.

Meanwhile, Gamenguide provided a brief summary of the recent promo trailer for "Gem Harvest," which was first shown at the cartoon series' panel during the New York Comic Con 2016. The trailer started off with Steven looking for his friends, Lapis and Peridot. Upon reaching their place, he found out that they went somewhere else. His search led him to a plantation, where he saw Lapis and Peridot tending on their pumpkins. Steven learned that the gems are working on a special kind of vegetable that could talk and walk and do all the activities that the gems usually do. Still, these vegetables are not expected to possess the same special powers that the gems have.

Aside from "Gem Harvest," there are other promo trailers for the upcoming Season 4 episodes such as "Cooking with Lion," "Gem Karaoke," "Steven Reacts," "Video Chat" and "Steven's Song Time."
