Things are not looking good for Mike Ross based on the last episode of "Suits" season 6. He is not making any headway with Kevin Miller, and now, Frank Gallo's looming threat is making things so much bleaker for the faux attorney.

In Wednesday's episode 7 titled "Shake the Trees," fans saw Mike's (Patrick J. Adams) deal falling through, although he doesn't have a clue yet. It remains to be seen whether Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) will tell him about it right away or put off telling him until he sees another way out for Mike.

However, that's not the crux of Mike's problems. Gallo (Paul Schulze) has already proven how much of a threat he is to Mike's like in prison, but it could get worse if Gallo makes good on his threat and tells Kevin (Eric Palladino) what Mike is really up to. Should Mike's deal prove hopeless, he will be spending two years in prison, and with Gallo around, those two years will not be a walk in the park for Mike.

Harvey and Sean Cahill (Neal McDonough) are still butting heads over broken promises, but it's more of an "agreeing to disagree" kind of thing between the two as they are still on the same page when it comes to getting Mike out of prison and Kevin's father-in-law, William Sutter (Alan Rosenberg), arrested.

Things are not looking good in the Litt front, as Louis (Rick Hoffman), who finally had the courage to take Tara Messer (Carly Pope) out on a date, learns later on that Tara is involved in a long-distance relationship with a guy living on the West Coast.

For Wednesday's episode 8 titled "Borrowed Time," USA Network shared this synopsis:

"Cahill's star witness is countered by Harvey; Mike tries to deliver a witness himself; Leonard's execution is delayed by Jessica and Rachel; Louis adjust to life as the other man."

It looks like Cahill will present a star witness in court, which Harvey will counter smoothly, as per their plans. No matter how hard the two banter and despite throwing hurtful words at each other, they're still one in their goal to make sure of Mike's safety and get him out of prison the soonest possible time and make Sutter pay for his crimes.

Meanwhile, Jessica Pearson (Gina Torres) and Rachel Zane (Meghan Markle) will be trying everything they can to delay Leonard Bailey's (Glenn Plummer) execution further. On the other hand, Louis will find himself in a tight situation with Tara. Apparently, he will acquiesce to the unorthodox setup with Tara, who claims to be in an open relationship with her West Coast-based boyfriend. Louis will be making major adjustments as he accepts being "the other man."
