American sitcom "The Big Bang Theory" is moving on to its 10th season. But before it could even reveal what happens next after the events from last season, fans are already getting some ideas on what to expect.
According to a report by TVLine, Bernadette (Melissa Rauch) will not deliver her baby yet when the show returns. She previously announced that she's pregnant with her and Howard's (Simon Helberg) first baby. Even though Howard was excited upon hearing the news, fear suddenly crept in since he's having doubts that he will be a good father.
Howard grew up without a father and was raised alone by his mother so he doesn't know the picture of a father figure yet. But it's expected that he will be taking things in bit by bit later on. Fans will also be seeing his journey to fatherhood as the show will not do a time jump. Showrunner Steve Molaro divulged that they have no plans of hurrying the storyline of Bernadette's pregnancy.
"We're taking it slow," Molaro says, according to TVLine. "The plan is to just let it roll out like a regular pregnancy," he added.
Meanwhile, season 10 is rumored to feature the wedding of Amy (Mayim Bialik) and Sheldon (Jim Parsons). In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Molaro said that the two characters are taking things slowly. They have already gone a long way in their relationship and moving on to another is only reasonable. However, Molaro describe them as moving "glacially." Thus, they are walking baby steps towards the real thing.
Season 10 is expected to air later this year but fans are wondering if it will be the last one. News Everyday noted that the rumors started after actor Kunal Nayyar hinted that the upcoming season is the last one. However, there is no confirmation yet and Molaro had previously said that they are not thinking about the season finale yet.
