The seventh season of "The Walking Dead" is just nearly a month away from its launch date and AMC treated fans with a little preview. The new photos show that the upcoming season will be introducing two safe-zones — The Sanctuary and The Kingdom.

Earlier this month, the network released photos of The Sanctuary, the Saviors' hideout. The photos revealed that their camp is surrounded by a chain-link fence aside from the barricade of walkers to drive unwanted guests away from their encampment.

Another community that will be introduced next season is The Kingdom. Sources said that the photo revealing a barricade of filing cabinets and the photo of a covered walkway were actually teasers for The Kingdom. As seen in the comic books, the community used to be a school but was turned into a safe haven run by Ezekiel.

The Kingdom belongs to the trading system between the Hilltop and the Saviors. The Kingdom will eventually form an alliance with the Hilltop community and the Alexandria community to defeat Negan and his gang.

More importantly, little is known about the fate of the well-loved characters who were rallied by Negan and the Saviors. Sources reported that Michonne who is portrayed by Danai Gurira will meet her demise in the forthcoming season after Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) bludgeons her with his customized baseball bat named Lucille.

Many believe that Michonne will be killed off next season. The show has a knack for killing off characters that have become quite appealing to the audience. Since Michonne and Rick (Andrew Lincoln) got into a relationship in the previous season, this character's death will definitely stir up the lead protagonist.

Fans of the show will find out who Negan killed in the premiere episode of "The Walking Dead" season 7 which will return to AMC on Sunday, Oct. 23 at 9 p.m. EDT.
