Who is Gary Anderson? Flip or Flop's Christina El Moussa's contractor intrigues fans

Over the past few months, HGTV reality TV "Flip or Flop" stars Christina El Moussa and husband Tarek shocked fans with a string of announcements leading to the dissolution of their marriage. The couple secretly split in May last year, announced their separation in December, and legally filed for divorce before the year ended.

Even though the celebrity real-estate agents insisted that there was no third-party involved in the fallout, both did not waste time seeing other people after the split. Now, fans turn their attention to the alleged cause of split and Cristina's new beau — Gary Anderson.

Anderson is a contractor who had worked with the couple a few times, most recently on renovating their backyard. According to The Hollywood Gossip, Christina met him about three years ago, although it is not confirmed when they started having a relationship.

Rumors say that Anderson may have played a role in the couple's split. According to In Touch, a source revealed that Christina had grown close to the contractor that in May 2016, Tarek read some inappropriate text exchanges between the two on Christina's phone, causing him storm out of the El Moussa home while armed.

The reality TV stars have since released a statement to dispel third-party rumors, and they have downplayed the May 2016 incident, saying, "We had an unfortunate misunderstanding about six months ago and the police were called to our house in an abundance of caution. There was no violence and no charges were filed."

Information about Anderson appear to be elusive, but reports say that he had been married twice. HollywoodLife.com also managed to speak with a former girlfriend of Anderson, and she had only good things to say about him. "To be honest Gary is very respectful of women and a good guy," she reportedly told the news outlet, adding, "I fell for him because he had a big heart and in the time that we were together he treated me very well."

While online photos of Anderson appear to be scarce, a photo of his daughter spending time with Christina may be seen on the latter's Instagram account.
