'Game of Thrones' season 7 premiere, cast news, spoilers: Jon Snow takes a big leap next season
Kit Harington's Jon Snow will be facing big challenges in season 7 that are bound to change him. Meanwhile, the big five in the fight for the Iron Throne will have to change their plans after the big revelation about Jon Snow has been made.
"Game of Thrones" returns this July with season 7, and one of the big plot points for the incoming season is the war against the White Walkers. Previously in season 6, Snow is the one gathering all armies to prepare for the attack of the White Walkers, and according to Harington, his character will undergo a "big change" next season.
"I sort of know where he is now. ... He might go through a big change, I don't know," Harington shared, according to Express.
Harington explained that he has a strong connection with his character, and although his character has gone through strange and brutal things, the actor shared that he'll "always be fond of it."
Harington also revealed that he still doesn't know how "Game of Thrones" will end. However, he finds not knowing how the series will end "really exciting," and he says that he's looking forward to being the first to know what the executive producers and writers have in store for the season finale.
Meanwhile, the big reveal about Jon Snow's lineage and right to the Iron Throne might throw off Daenerys (Emilia Clarke), Cersei (Lena Headey), and Sansa (Sophie Turner) in doing whatever plans they have in line with conquering all seven kingdoms.
The person who will be most affected by Jon Snow's right to the Iron Throne is the Mother of Dragons. After believing and fighting so long for her right to the throne, it will be difficult for her to concede and give way to Snow.
"Game of Thrones" season 7 is slated to premiere this July on HBO.
