Justin Bieber says engagement to Hailey Baldwin is 'God's perfect timing'
Justin Bieber has written a heartfelt message to his fiancée Hailey Baldwin about putting Jesus first after they got engaged while on vacation in the Bahamas this month.
The pop star is clearly relishing the change in his life as he looks forward to becoming a husband and his message posted to Instagram reveals how much he wants to honor her according to the standards of the Bible.
Bieber raved about God's perfect timing and the fact that they happened to get engaged on the seventh day of the seventh month - seven is a number of spiritual perfection in the Bible.
'So committed to spending my life getting to know every single part of you loving you patiently and kindly,' he wrote. 'I promise to lead our family with honor and integrity letting Jesus through his Holy Spirit guide us in everything we do and every decision we make.'
He couldn't contain his excitement at growing old with Hailey, who is the daughter of actor and evangelist Stephen Baldwin, as he wrote: 'We're gonna be better at 70 baby, here we go!'
He then quoted from Proverbs 18:22, which says: 'He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor from the Lord.'
Both Justin and Hailey attend Hillsong Church and there have been reports that the pair will take the church's marriage preparation course, which covers some of the things married couples will face together like managing finances and being intimate.
The Daily Mail quoted an unnamed source as saying: 'It is something they are both keen to do as faith is important to them and it will really help build a strong foundation for the years they plan to spend together.'
The happy couple haven't announced any details about their wedding yet, like the date or venue or who they will be inviting.
