A resilient warrior like Agent May (Ming-Na Wen) cannot be held down for very long, and this is what the villainous life model decoy (LMD) Aida (Mallory Jansen) will find out in the next episode of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D."

In the previous episode of ABC's sci-fi action series, Radcliffe (John Hannah) failed to keep the unconscious May down by inputting calming experiences into her psyche and, thus, decided on a different approach. Although he hinted at possibly giving May a worthy opponent to keep her busy in the fabricated reality inside her head, Radcliffe did not make it clear what exactly he was planning to do.

The episode also saw the LMD May starting to question her being when she spoke of images instead of memories and later realized she could be partly made of steel after sustaining an injury. How will LMD May deal with this discovery? And will Radcliffe, who has been temporarily advised not to get anywhere near the S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters, get to her in time to fix her up before she breaks down?

The next episode titled "Wake Up," could refer to either or both Mays' struggle to find out the truth about themselves. What has Radcliffe put inside the real May's head to lock her up in there? Could it be a simple battle against a single opponent or an elaborate ruse that more closely resembles May's reality as she knows it?

The trailer for the next episode also shows Aida working on LMD May in a scene that could either belong to the present or the past. Can LMD May be programmed to return to Radcliffe's place for some improvements or debugging, or will the viewers finally see just how LMD May was able to infiltrate S.H.I.E.L.D. undetected?

The trailer also shows the real May waking up and trying to escape, but she was once again apprehended by Aida. Is this scene part of real May's reality or of the fabricated one Radcliffe could be putting inside her head? Will the real May finally be able to escape and let the rest of S.H.I.E.L.D. know of Radcliffe's betrayal?

The rest of S.H.I.E.L.D. themselves will be facing a conflict of their own when Sen. Nadeer (Parminder Nagra) accuses them of being a criminal organization, which makes the shadow director Coulson (Clark Gregg) think that there could be a mole among his team.

"Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 4 episode 11 airs on Tuesday, Jan. 24, at 10 p.m. EST on ABC.
