2016 presidential hopeful Donald Trump has recently spoken out regarding his Christian faith, claiming the Bible to be his favorite book.

Trump recently told a crowd in Mobile, Alabama that his experience speaking in front of thousands of supporters makes him realize what evangelical pastor Billy Graham must have felt like.

"I know how Billy Graham felt," Trump reportedly joked while speaking at Ladd-Peebles Stadium in Mobile in front of a crowd of about 30,000.

"What's my favorite book? The Bible! The Bible. [...] We take the Bible all the way," the real estate mogul-turned-presidential-hopeful said at the Friday night event.

Trump also addressed what he believes to be the issue with America, telling the large crowd "[America is] running on fumes. There's nothing here. [...] We're not going to have a country left. We need to have our borders. We need to make great deals."

The 2016 presidential hopeful previously received some criticism from the evangelical voter base earlier this year when he said he doesn't seek God's forgiveness.

When asked by Moderator Frank Luntz at the recent Family Leadership Summit in Ames, Iowa if he seeks God's forgiveness, the 2016 presidential hopeful replied: "I am not sure I have. I just go on and try to do a better job from there. I don't think so."

"I think if I do something wrong, I think, I just try and make it right. I don't bring God into that picture. I don't," Trump added.
