The Duggar women of TLC's "19 Kids and Counting" reality show recently participated in a makeover and photo shoot held at their home in Arkansas.

Jinger, Joy-Anna, Jana, Jill, Jessa, and mother Michelle all recently participated in People magazine's "World's Most Beautiful" issue. The magazine has also posted a short video showing the women's transformation process.

The purpose of the women's makeover was reportedly to get them ready for spring, meaning assistant makeup artist Juliette Perreux used natural colors and shimmer to achieve a light , summerlike effect.

Mother Michelle told People magazine in its short clip that she enjoyed getting dressed up, adding that her daily routine for getting ready usually takes about five minutes.

"They are doing my hair in soft curls, kind of like the way I had it on my wedding day," Michelle told the camera.

"We want to have all of the girls looking fresh for spring, and just kind of have a more modern take of a romantic feel," Monica Cotto, the stylist for the recent Duggar photoshoot, said in the short clip provided by People magazine.

In their annual "World's Most Beautiful" issue, People magazine named actress Sandra Bullock their most beautiful person of the year.

Although Bullock welcomed the honor, she told People magazine that she finds true beauty to be internal.

"Real beauty is quiet. Especially in this town, it's just so hard not to say, 'Oh, I need to look like that,' " she explains. "No, be a good person, be a good mom, do a good job with the lunch, let someone cut in front of you who looks like they're in a bigger hurry. The people I find most beautiful are the ones who aren't trying."
