Floyd Mayweather Witnesses Murder-Suicide Of Friend Earl Hayes and Stephanie Moseley

He has figured in numerous bruising fights atop the ring but Floyd Mayweather, Jr. had not seen something as shocking and bloody as this – the murder-suicide via FaceTime of a close friend and the latter's wife.

According to TMZ, Mayweather was on the phone Monday morning with his friend rapper Earl Hayes when he fatally shot his wife, VH1 star Stephanie Moseley, and then turned the gun on himself inside a high-end apartment complex in Los Angeles.

TMZ sources claim the 34-year-old Hayes called up Mayweather and told him he was going to kill his wife for being unfaithful to him. The pound-for-pound boxing king reportedly pleaded with Hayes not to do it but to no avail.

Mayweather reportedly admitted that he heard and saw the couple fight, including the bloody ending, on the video chat app FaceTime.

Sources claimed that Mayweather was in a state of shock after seeing the horrifying murder-suicide right before his eyes.

However, just hours after witnessing the crime, Mayweather was seen Monday night at courtside at the Staples Center in LA during the LA Clippers game against the visiting Phoenix Suns.

TMZ sources said Mayweather appeared to be in a "pretty decent mood considering the circumstances." He was seen shaking hands and talking with Clippers stars Chris Paul and Jamal Crawford before the game which the Clippers won by a hairline, 121-120.

Moseley, 30, was a star on VH1's drama series "Hit The Floor" while Hayes, the son of singer-songwriter and actor Isaac Hayes, was a rapper once signed to Mayweather's record label Philthy Rich Records.

The couple were found dead by a SWAT team who broke down the door of the apartment after residents heard a woman screaming and up to 10 gunshots fired.

Burrel Wilks, Hayes' life coach and close friend, described the married couple as longtime partners who were in the process of breaking up.

"I've had sit downs with both of them so whatever happened behind those doors we'll never know, but I heard out of her own mouth, he never raised a hand on her so this is kind of stunning," Wilks said.

Moseley played Devil Girl/Arelly in "Hit The Floor," the VH1 drama series about an NBA Cheerleading team called the Los Angeles Devil Girls.

She also appeared in movies including "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1," "Mirror Mirror" and "Sparkle." She was formerly a back-up dancer for singers including Janet Jackson, Chris Brown and Britney Spears.

On Monday, Brown posted a tribute to Moseley on Instagram. "RIP baby girl. Danced with me on tour and was always the coolest person. My prayers go out to you and HAZE family," he wrote.
