Vin Diesel 'Inhuman'? Another Movie Blockbuster For 'Guardians Of The Galaxy' Star
Already playing a major role in the highly successful "Guardians of the Galaxy" franchise as the voice of the character Groot, Vin Diesel could be part of another upcoming movie blockbuster. Diesel recently twitted a picture of himself beside the poster for the "Inhumans" movie with the caption: "Are you Inhuman?"
Last October, Marvel announced that "Inhumans" would be the studio's 20th film which would be released on Nov. 2, 2018. Rumors have been swirling since August that Diesel would be part of the film.
The actor twitted last August that, "I get the strange feeling that Marvel thinks I'm Inhuman ... Haha." His statement was enough to spark a buzz on social media and other websites. Marvel's subsequent announcement of a release date for the movie only fired up the rumors about the film.
In the October event, Marvel remarked cryptically that the coming months would see more "Easter eggs" for the "Inhumans" movie.
As for the movie and its cast, there has been very little news. Cinemablend reports that Marvel could be looking to include characters such as Black Bolt, Medusa, Karnak, Gorgon, Triton and Crystal in the movie. In the Marvel comics, Homo Sapiens who were experimented upon by the alien race "Kree" become the "inhumans" and they develop superpowers. However, they were later abandoned after a prophecy indicated that they would bring about the end of the Kree.
Diesel has been hinting since August that he will play the character Black Bolt who rarely speaks as his voice is powerful enough to destroy entire cities. However, several websites noted that Diesel could just be having a little fun at the Internet's expense as he had earlier hinted that he would play Vision in "The Avengers: Age of Ultron." That role went to Paul Bettany instead.
