Jessa Duggar and husband Ben Seewald are reportedly still deciding on a name for their newborn son, born five days ago.

The former reality show couple explained on social media this week that they are taking their time in picking the perfect name for their new arrival.

Jessa took to her Facebook page to explain that she and her husband Ben are still waiting to decide on a name, telling one fan: "We'll be announcing as soon as we settle on a name! Still haven't decided!"

Seewald also posted lyrics from a song describing the joy of holding a newborn baby, writing: "How sweet to hold a newborn baby, And feel the pride and joy he gives; But greater still the calm assurance: This child can face uncertain days because He Lives!"

Jessa reportedly had to be rushed to the hospital following the birth of her son five days ago after her mother, Michelle Duggar, called 911 to report that her daughter was producing "quite a bit of blood" after giving birth.

Despite the concerning 911 call, husband Ben Seewald later shared on social media that both mother and baby were healthy and happy following the birthing process.

"Our sweet baby boy was born last night. He weighed 9 lbs and 11 ounces and is 21 ¼ inches long! He's precious and both he and Jessa are doing great. Stay tuned — we will share his name soon!" Seewald shared on Instagram late last week.
