Former reality television star Jessa Duggar and husband Ben Seewald welcomed their first child this week, a healthy baby boy weighing just over nine pounds.

The well-known couple reportedly welcomed their first child together sometime this week, sharing the first photo of the newborn with People magazine. The Seewalds have yet to announce the new arrival's name.

According to People magazine, the couple's newborn reportedly weighs 9 lbs. 11 oz. and is 21 ½ inches long.

The Duggar family also announced the newborn's arrival on their Facebook page on Thursday, writing: "Yesterday Jessa gave birth to a baby boy. He is 9 lbs 11 ounces and 21 1/4 inches long. Both Jessa and the baby are doing well."

The couple also added several photos of the baby to their "Seewald Baby Album" on their official website, including a photo of father Jim Bob Duggar with his new grandson.

While going through her pregnancy, Jessa took to social media to thank husband Ben for his undying support.

"You're already such a sweet daddy, caring for your preborn baby! You're my #1 cheerleader when it comes to making good food choices, but you also understand when the baby 'needs' a late-night bowl of cookies & cream ice cream!" the new mom, who previously starred on TLC's "19 Kids and Counting," wrote back in June. "Thanks for all the back rubs, breakfast in bed, and for encouraging me to stick with those pregnancy workouts! You're the best! So blessed to have you as my husband and the father of our baby."
