Jihadists who were chasing Christians hear Jesus' voice: 'Why are you persecuting me?'

A militant group who were chasing underground Christians in the Arabian sea were stopped by a sudden dust storm when they reportedly saw Jesus Christ, who spoke to them with a "mighty voice."

In October, a man identified only as Rizwan recounted how his group was chased by militants after a baptism service at the Arabian Sea. They were already on the bus and on their way back to their church when the militants started shooting towards them. He said that everyone on the bus thought they were all going to die, but a sudden dust storm appeared and stopped the militants.

A man who goes by the pseudonym Haroon said that he was commanding the militants who chased after Rizwan's group. He recounted on the Bibles4Mideast website that he and 18 other militants rushed to the seashore with the intent of killing everyone at the baptism service because they want the world to fear Muslims and stop Christians from evangelizing in the region.

When the militants arrived at the site, the baptism service was over, and the Christians were already headed back to the church on a bus. They followed the bus and started shooting towards it.

Haroon said that a dust storm suddenly appeared in front of the vehicles. They stopped and got out of their cars and continued shooting through the dust storm.

"Suddenly we saw Christ Jesus appeared in the dust storm," Haroon narrated. "He was angry and his eyes were like blazing fire. With a mighty voice he told us, 'Why are you persecuting me; It's hard for you to kick against the pricks,'" he added.

He said that their guns were blown away by the wind, and they were unable to speak.

Haroon said that Jesus spoke again and told them, "I came to the world not to destroy anyone; but to save you. Go in peace."

"We experienced both terrible fear and an abundant peace at a time. We never had such experience in our life before," he recounted.

The group praised and thanked God when they got their voice back, but two of the militants did not believe that the incident was from God.

Haroon said that the 17 militants who were with him have accepted Jesus Christ as their savior, and they are still praying for the other two members to be saved.
