John Luke Robertson of 'Duck Dynasty' Announces Engagement

John Luke Robertson, a member of the "Duck Dynasty" reality show family, has announced that he is engaged to be married to girlfriend Mary Kate McEacharn.

While celebrating his 19th birthday over the weeknd, Robertson reportedly popped the question to his girlfriend. The 19-year-old reality show star posted a photo of himself and his new fiancé shortly after he popped the question.

"She. Said. Yes. @missmarymcmcmc," Robertson wrote as a caption for the pic, which shows him standing next to McEacharn while holding a sign that reads "Future Mrs. Robertson" and an arrow pointing to his fiancé.

McEacharn also posted the same image on her social media account with the caption: "Happy Birthday to the boy I'm going to marry."

Robertson is the oldest son of parents Willie and Korie Robertson. He has one biological sister, Sadie, who is currently competing on the "Dancing With The Stars," as well as three younger siblings, two of whom are adopted.

The two young lovebirds reportedly met while attending the same high school, and have been dating since last year.

Robertson discussed why he wants to marry young in a comment to Entertainment Tonight. "I know my parents married young as well, and they have always been examples of what 'could be' to me. Fast-forward 22 years and they are more in love than ever, and I hope Mary Kate and I are the same way in the years to come. God has truly blessed us."
