American musician and songwriter Kanye West shared on social media that his upcoming album will be unlike anything he has done before.

According to a report by The Independent, West, 38, revealed on Twitter that his new album entitled Waves will be a "Gospel" album.

The post was immediately shared several thousand times on the social networking website, with many not expecting the announcement by the "All Day" singer, who has previously caused controversy by comparing himself with Jesus.

Originally entitled "Swish", the album's title was changed to "Waves", which caused some conflict between him and fellow rapper Wiz Khalifa. Apparently, Wiz, 28, is not happy with the change.

However, after posting the tweet and gaining retweets and comments, Kim Kardashian's husband then removed the tweet. The only reason he provided for removing the tweet is 'positive energy.'

The album will be West's latest following his 2013 album "Yeezus"Even before being named "SWISH" back in May, the original title of the new album was supposedly "So Help Me God".

The album is planned to be released on Feb. 11, and will feature tracks such as "Good Friends", and "No More Parties in L.A.", which was a collaboration with Kendrick Lamar.

There may be some indications that Kanye is shifting back to his more religious side as he incorporates faith-based themes into his work.

In December, Kim and Kanye named their second baby, Saint. The couple's first daughter is named North.
