Melania Trump, wife to 2016 presidential hopeful Donald Trump, gave a rare and brief interview following Tuesday evening's GOP debate in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, saying that she thought the evening had been "great."

The former model told "The Brody File" following Tuesday evening's debate that she thought it was "a great evening."

"Just the way it was handled, fair and elegant and fair questions. It's all about the economy and business and he's master of that," Trump added.

Some critics have suggested that Trump's wife has remained silent during most of her husband's presidential campaign, raising questions of her capability for being First Lady.

While several GOP candidates, including Donald Trump, criticized the previous GOP debate hosted by CNBC for being unprofessional, Melania told "Extra" following the event that the moderators were "just doing their jobs."

"Just keep tough, and smart, and keep going," Melania told "Extra" following the debate in late October.

Trump had predicted that the CNBC debate held in Boulder, Colorado in late October would be "unfair," tweeting ahead of the debate: "After a great evening and packed auditorium in Iowa, I am now in Colorado looking forward to what I am sure will be a very unfair debate!"

"[CNBC] continues to report fictious poll numbers. Number one, based on every statistic, is Trump (by a wide margin). They just can't say it!" Trump added.

Following the CNBC debate, Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus pulled a GOP debate slated for February from the NBC network, citing the criticism CNBC received for the October debate.
