Michelle Duggar Says 'God Will Stretch' Love of Newlyweds Jill and Derrick

Michelle Duggar, matriarch of the "19 Kids and Counting" reality show family, recently gushed about the happiness and love of her newlywed daughter, Jill Duggar, and husband Derrick Dillard.

Duggar took to her blog on the family website to discuss the new married life for Jill and Derrick. The couple married this past summer in Arkansas, and following their deeply-religious upbringing, didn't share their first kiss until their wedding day.

"It's just so sweet to watch these guys and girls that are really in love," Michelle wrote about the newlywed couple and her growing family. "Love is in the air and it's good for all of us to be around that, even if the little siblings have to go, 'Oh no, they're kissing again, oh my!"

"I know God's going to use that love to help stretch in ways that they might not otherwise try, because that's the good thing about marriage. It really does stretch us and helps us to become the person that God would want us to be," she continued. "You're much more willing to get out of your comfort zone when it's with somebody that you deeply love."

"It was truly the joy of her life to marry Derick and they both feel so blessed to have each other," the Duggar matriarch added. "They are just really, really happy to be married and enjoying married life."

Along with being recently married, Jill and Derrick are also expecting their first child together. While the couple remains unsure if they will share the child's birth on their reality show "19 Kids and Counting," they have been willing to divulge the public in other pregnancy details, including Jill's cravings, her progress and her due date.
