Miranda Lambert, Luke Bryant Win Big At CMA's; Thank God For Success

Two top winners at Wednesday night's Country Music Awards, held in Nashville, Tennessee, were sure to thank God during their tearful acceptance speeches.

Country music star Miranda Lambert, who made history Wednesday night by winning her fifth consecutive Female Vocalist of the Year award, thanked God during her acceptance speech. Fellow country music singer Reba McEntire previously held the record of winning four consecutive Female Vocalist of the Year awards during her music career in the 1980's.

When Lambert took the podium to accept her award, the singer tearfully thanked God for allowing her to sing country music as a profession. "I don't even know what to say," Lambert said while accepting her award.

"I just can't believe that I'm standing here," she continued. "I can't believe this is my life, this is what I get to do for a living, and this is my job. Thank you, fans, for that. I just appreciate what God allowed me to do in my life."

Fellow country music singer Luke Bryan also won big at Wednesday's awards' show, taking home the award for Entertainer of the Year, considered to be the top award of the night.

 "I hope I can have enough time to say everything that's on my mind," Bryan, who was also emotional during his speech, told the crowd, thanking God, his family and friends for the opportunity to win such a huge award. "I have some angels in heaven, my brother and sister are making this night possible for me."
