Nicole Kidman Says She's 'Baby Crazy'
Actress Nicole Kidman said in a recent interview that she's "desperate to have another baby" with husband Keith Urban.
At age 47, Kidman said in a recent radio interview that every month she hopes to be pregnant, although she doubts she will have another baby at her age. Kidman already shares two biological children with current husband Urban, as well as two adopted children with ex-husband and actor Tom Cruise.
"I'm baby crazy. I just love kids […] I hope every month that I'm pregnant […] But I never am. I would be jumping for joy if I was […] It won't happen. No, I'm 47. It won't happen […] Well my grandmother had her last baby at 49 so you never know," Kidman told Australia's KIIS 1065's The Kyle and Jackie O Show.
Kidman added that her husband may not share her enthusiasm for growing their brood, joking "He might not be jumping for joy."
Kidman's family recent suffered the sudden loss of the actress's father, Anthony, who died in September of a heart attack at age 75.
The actress also discussed her father's death on the recent radio show, saying "He was an amazing man."
"We have the tightest family, we really do. Now I'll get upset," she said, choking up slightly at the mention of her recently-passed father.
Kidman and Urban previously released a joint statement that said: "We would just like to thank everyone for their love and prayers over these past couple of weeks […] We are all heartbroken but knowing we are in the hearts and thoughts of others is so comforting. Sending love, Nic and Keith xx."
