Now that the long-awaited release of the upcoming adventure survival video game "No Man's Sky" is less than a month away, fans who have been waiting for years to finally play it are eager to get their hands on the exclusive features included in the game's PS4 Limited Edition.

The highly anticipated "No Man's Sky," developed by Hello Games, presents an innovative gameplay that allows players to move around freely within the entirety of an open universe, where they will gain information that they can add to The Atlas, a universal database shared with other players.

In an interview with Game Spot back in March, Hello Games' Sean Murray said that "No Man's Sky" will offer players a "unique journey" within a "shared universe." And because players will be free to explore a galaxy of more than 18 quintillion planets, each of which offers a different experience, "The chances of you meeting up with your friends are zero, pretty much."

"If you discover one planet every second, it would take 500 billion years to find all of them," Murray said. "By that point our sun would have burnt out."

While there are still several weeks to go before "No Man's Sky" hits store shelves, players can already pre-order the game at the PlayStation website. Those who pre-order the PS4 version are eligible to receive the Alpha Vector ship, which comes loaded with a powerful hyperdrive and a bunch of lasers.

PS4 players can also pre-order the "No Man's Sky" Limited Edition version for PS4, which comes with a SteelBook case, a PS4 Dynamic Theme, and a 48-page art book featuring the game's concept art. There is also a comic called "Adventures in No Man's Sky," with contributions from artists James Swallow, Dave Gibbons, and Angus McKie. To top it all off, some in-game DLC are added as a bonus. These DLCs include a Photonix Core advanced ship boost, a Boltcaster SM weapon blueprint, and a Trader Charisma set which players can use to defeat creatures, claim territory, and travel deeper into the galaxy.

Meanwhile, "Limitless Sky: No Man's Sky Discovery Guide," the first unofficial guide for the game, has just gone up on Amazon. The description page for the book says that it "will provide not only an introduction to the hottest video game, but it'll also teach you how to get more out of your valuable playtime — exploring vast areas, fighting pirates, upgrading your ship or spacesuit, avoiding Sentinels, and identifying new species and resources."

"Limitless Sky" will be available beginning Nov. 15.

"No Man's Sky" will be released in North America on June 21, in Europe on June 22, and in the U.K. on June 24.
