'One Piece' episodes 773, 774 spoilers: Millenia-old Zunisha launches counterattack on Jack and the Beast Pirates

If one can't take the island off the elephant, then one should take the elephant from underneath the island. Sounds like a good plan, but Jack and his Beast Pirates may have been just a bit reckless with their destructive ambitions when Zunisha, the millennia-old elephant, strikes back in the next episode of "One Piece."

Everybody's plans of rounding up allies were ruined, and the celebratory feast that the Minks prepared was spoiled when Jack and the Beast Pirates reignited their attack on Zou by bombarding the giant elephant that bore the island on its back. And in the midst of the chaos, Luffy and Momonosuke started hearing a mysterious voice asking them to hurry up and give out an order.

The episode titled "A Battle to Defend Zou! Luffy and Zunisha!" may well reveal this mysterious voice to be that of Zunisha's, who is concerned about the entire civilization of Minks that could die if it ends up toppling over from all the injuries it is currently sustaining.

Based on chapter 821 of the manga series, Zunisha cannot show any hint of violence unless permitted to due to a crime it committed in the ancient past. This is why it is imploring someone, anyone, to order it to fight back before it, along with Zou Island, ends up sinking to the bottom of the ocean. Fortunately, the trailer for the episode hints at someone catching on and finally giving out the order because, in a grand showing of power, Zunisha is suddenly swinging his gigantic trunk.

Who will order Zunisha to fight Jack and his crew, and how will its unexpected counterattack affect the insolent pirates who want to put it down?

"One Piece" episode 774 airs on Sunday, Jan. 29, at 3:30 p.m. JST on Fuji TV.

Meanwhile, manga creator Eiichiro Oda has just posted his first tweet on the official Twitter account of the "One Piece" manga staff. The tweet serves to remind fans that it is the manga series' 20th anniversary this year and that Oda will keep doing his best in every upcoming chapter of the serialized manga published in the "Weekly Shounen Jump" magazine.
