'Peaky Blinders' season 3 finale spoilers news: Will Alfie betray Tommy as he attempts his biggest heist yet?
In the previous episode of "Peaky Blinders" season 3, Tom Hardy returned as the violent and unpredictable Jewish gang leader, Alfie Simmons.
Although Alfie is expected to once again steal the scene, the season 3 finale of the hit series will be all about Tommy (Cillian Murphy) and his attempt to pull off the greatest double-heist in his life.
However, apart from the fact that his grand plot in the "Peaky Blinders" season 3 finale is already as tricky without the involvement of his rivals, it becomes much tougher with threats coming from all directions.
The arrival of Alfie could not be timely since Tommy has gone to a point that he can't do things alone now. And since he has set his eyes on a prize much bigger than he has ever gone after, he'll need all the hand he can get.
"Tommy has got himself into a position where he needs some help - and there is a certain man who can help him with a very particular job... and that is Alfie Solomons, so Alfie is back in the frame," "Peaky Blinders" producer Simon Maloney told Digital Spy.
"It's a very fragile relationship between them. There's certainly moments of conflict... and moments of uneasy tension," he teased of the duo. It will be really be hard for Tommy to trust Alfie, who has turned his back on him several times. It won't be so shocking for him to do it again in "Peaky Blinders" season 3.
Teasing Tommy's ultimate crime career-defining move, Maloney said, "In true Peaky Blinders style, it's a bit of a rollercoaster... and things may not go quite according to Tommy's plan."
Maloney teased that "Peaky Blinders" season 3 might end with a cliffhanger, which will be answered in the show's fourth season, which has recently been announced by BBC along with a fifth season renewal. Murphy has already signed a deal for both seasons.
"Peaky Blinders" season 3 (episode 6) finale will air on June 9 at 9 p.m. EDT on BBC Two. The description for the episode reads:
