As 2016 GOP hopefuls continue to campaign for the upcoming presidential election, two aides in the Rand Paul and Marco Rubio camps have allegedly engaged in accusations of a physical altercation.

John Yob, national political director for Kentucky Senator Rand Paul, took to social media this week to accuse Rich Beeson, deputy campaign manager for Floride Senator Marco Rubio, of throwing a punch at him while the two were at the same bar on Michigan's Mackinac Island ahead of an upcoming GOP conference.

Yob has claimed that the two were involved in an altercation where Beeson allegedly punched Yob in the face. Yob has shared a video of the incident on social media and has reportedly contacted the authorities over the alleged incident.

"Last night I went to a bar on Mackinac Island for the GOP Mackinac Conference," Yob wrote in a recent Facebook post. "I ran into a guy named Rich Beeson, who frankly I didn't even know who it was at first because he isn't relevant in our political world. [...] He literally physically assaulted me by punching me in the face. The state police are looking for him. I have it on video, from multiple angles. This will play out in the national media in the next few hours."

Yob also took to Twitter to call on Beeson to be fired by Rubio's camp, writing: "I am hereby calling on Marco Rubio to fire Rich Beeson immediately."
