Rap Artist Drake Implies Ex Girlfriend Rihanna Is Satan
The rap artist Drake recently compared his former lover, Rihanna, to Satan at his concert in Toronto, Canada earlier this week.
Drake was performing his new song "Days in the East" at Toronto's OVO Fest on Monday evening when the digital screen behind him began flashing red with the number "666" across it, followed by a photo of his former girlfriend, Barbadian singer Rihanna. Drake has previously mentioned that his new single is dedicated to his on-again, off-again relationship with the 26-year-old pop artist.
Fans witnessing the concert immediately took to social media to express their surprise at Drake's Satan reference. "Drake pretty much called Rihanna the devil on stage, seriously needs to move on and get a life," tweeted PopDust.
"Drake is probably not on good terms with his ex Rihanna," added another concert-goer.
Although Drake has said little about his obvious concert message, he did take to Instagram after the show to post a photo of himself in front of the fiery red stage screen with the caption: "All I Know."
Rihanna has previously established herself as a Christian via social media, often posting Bible verses that denounce the devil. Just last week, she changed the header on her Twitter page to an image of a Bible verse from Mark 9:28 that read: "When he entered the house, the blind men came to him, and Jesus said to them, 'do you believe that I am able to do this?' They said to him, 'Yes, Lord."
