'Real Housewives of Atlanta' latest news: Season 1 housewife Kim Zolciak returns
Back in 2012, during the fifth season of the "Real Housewives of Atlanta," Kim Zolciak made a memorable and dramatic exit from the reality show.
That time, Zolciak was meeting with the other housewives for lunch when she told them that she wouldn't be joining them on a trip to the Caribbean. Considering that it was the second time that she bailed on a group trip, the other housewives were furious with her. Unable to take the heat, Zolciak marched out of the restaurant and even broke the fourth wall by pushing the camera away. She has not appeared on the show since.
However, Bravo recently released a trailer featuring Zolciak, who, apparently, has returned to the reality series four seasons after she left it.
According to Mic, Zolciak's appearance in the trailer indicates that she is only returning as a guest. However, if the show performs well in terms of ratings, and if she manages to bring more than enough drama for viewers to feast on, Zolciak's return to the show may become a permanent gig should she be willing to fully return as one of the housewives.
In the sneak peek of "Real Housewives of Atlanta" season 9, Zolciak is seen arriving at Shereé Whitfield's home — the Chateau Shereé. Her presence immediately brings tension to the group. She was also quick to start a full-on feud with Kenya Moore.
"B--ch, you want to be me," Zolciak tells off Moore in the trailer. "You want to have a baby, you can't. You want to have a man, you f--king don't. Bye," she went on to say.
During her stint on the "Real Housewives of Atlanta," Zolciak's presence has always been somewhat controversial. However, her dramatic antics made good TV entertainment, which makes fans wonder if she will be returning as a full-time "housewife" in season 10. If so, it would not be the first time that a housewife returned to the TV series after taking some time off.
