Seattle Seahawks Quarterback Russell Wilson has responded to a recent comment made by Green Bay Packers Quarterback Aaron Rodgers, saying that everyone is "entitled to their own opinion."

Following last week's Green Bay victory over the Seahawks at Lambeau Field in Wisconsin, Rodgers made an alleged jab at Wilson by saying that he believes God must be a Packers fan.

"And then getting help from God. I think God was a Packers fan tonight, so he was taking care of us," Rodgers said following Sunday's game.

Rodgers had previously criticized Wilson for suggesting that God played a role in the Seahawks defeating the Packers during last years NFC Championship game.

The Packers quarterback told a local radio station at the time that he "[doesn't] think God cares a whole lot about the outcome."

"He cares about the people involved, but I don't think he's a big football fan," Rodgers added.

This week, Wilson responded to Rodgers' alleged jab, telling ESPN that he believes everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

"I know for me, I'm just grateful that God has given me the opportunity to play the great game of football," Wilson said. "I'm so grateful. I know that one of the things my parents always taught me is just continue to remain humble in your victories and your losses. And I think that's just the thing that I'm grateful for, just to be able to play the game of football. I love it. Like I said, everybody's entitled to their own opinion."
