Sony Xperia XA release date and rumored specs: 5-inch display, 13MP camera, Android Marshmallow

Sony started off the year with its Xperia X devices and now reports claim that they are gearing up for the release of the Xperia XA.
According to reports, Sony will be launching its Xperia XA in India on Wednesday, June 22. There is no confirmation from the Japanese multinational conglomerate corporation but initial rumors suggested that it will be making its way out by the third week of June. Since it has not come around yet, the speculated date is the most likely day that the Xperia XA will be unveiled to the public.
Rumors also pointed out that the device will have a price tag of Rs 20,999 or $311. As for the specs and features, rumors indicate that it will be sporting a 5-inch HD Mobile BRAVIA engine 2 display technology. Its resolution will be 1,280 x 720 pixels and its pixel density will be 294 ppi. Under the hood, it is said that one will be able to find a 64-bit MediaTek MT6755 Octa-core processor together with an ARM Mali-T860 MP2 700MHz GPU.
The native storage space is 16 GB which can be expanded futher up to 200 GB via microSD card. It is also said to come with 2 GB of RAM and will be pre-installed with Android 6.0 Marshmallow. For its photo taking features, speculations say it will be carrying a 13-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera. It will be powered with a 2,300mAh battery and may be coming with a Qnovo Power Management technology.
For its connectivity options, it will include Bluetooth v4.1, Wi-Fi, GPS, A-GPS, microUSB v2.0, and 3G or 4G. It will have dual SIM support and will have four color options which are White, Graphite Black, Lime Gold and Rose Gold.
