'Teen Wolf' season 6 episode 7 spoilers: Allies and foes team up against the Wild Hunt

Is Beacon Hills about to become just another ghost town? If Scott (Tyler Posey) and his pack do not come up with an idea to stop the Wild Hunt and bring all of its captive back, Beacon Hills may just turn into the next Canaan.

This was the idea presented by the previous episode of "Teen Wolf," which sent Scott, Lydia (Holland Roden), and Malia (Shelley Hennig) to the town of Canaan as per Stiles' (Dylan O'Brien) instruction. Their trip revealed a couple of significant clues about the Wild Hunt through its sole surviving resident, Lenore (McNally Sagal). As it turns out, the Ghost Riders can bring back the dead just as they can take away the living, and that they always leave the banshees behind.

Will these revelations eventually lead to the answer as to why the Wild Hunt is now targeting Beacon Hills in the first place? And if what returning character Theo (Cody Christian) said were true, why did the Ghost Riders get stuck?

In the next episode of "Teen Wolf," Scott's pack will be focusing on trying to capture a Ghost Rider with help from both allies and foes. It may seem like a terrible idea, as what Theo tells them in the episode preview, but it's the only one they have at the moment, and a bad idea is better than no idea at all. Malia will also try to negotiate with her father Peter (Ian Bohen) for help by bringing someone in to either aid in his quick recovery or end his life, depending on his usefulness.

The previous episode ended with Stiles' father Sheriff Stilinski peeling off the loose side of a wallpaper that his wife Claudia (Joey Honsa) has been meaning to replace. His curiosity reveals an empty room behind the wall which may have been Stiles' room. Will the older Stilinski finally believe, though blindly, in the existence of a son he cannot remember?

And does Claudia have something to do with the Ghost Riders in the same way that Lenore's son Caleb's (Mason McNulty) resurrection seemed to have brought the Wild Hunt to Canaan 30 years ago?

"Teen Wolf" season 6 episode 7 will air on Tuesday, Jan. 10, at 9 p.m. EST on MTV.
