Former NFL quarterback Tim Tebow recently arrived at a Wal-Mart in Florida to pay off costumers' layaway debts as part of his role as a contributor on ABC's "Good Morning America."

The former New York Jet was photographed paying off the lay-away accounts of customers at a Wal-Mart in Orlando, many of whom were forced to put Christmas gifts for loved ones on layaway in order to afford them.

Several customers who witnessed Tebow's generosity took to Twitter to express their gratitude.

"I can't hate on this guy!" tweeted one fan, Steven Cady, while another fan, Michelle Ray, wrote "He's great. Like really great."

A video posted by ABC's "Good Morning America" shows one customer, Damara Jarrett, thanking the former NFL quarterback for paying off her lay-away account, which she had to use in order to buy gifts for her two children.

"You don't understand how hard I've been working," Jarrett told Tebow after learning her bill would be paid. "And then I said I was going to take stuff off because I can't afford everything, and then this. Just thank you. I just want to cry."

Tebow, who played for the Florida Gators in college and then went on to play for the Denver Broncos and New York Jets, has now worked as a contributor for "Good Morning America" and an analyst for ESPN's SEC Network.

The former NFL player has seen multiple fans get excited around him, including a recent event when a Tennessee Volunteers fan began crying when she met Tebow at a pre-game party in Knoxville.
