Evangelical NFL athlete Tim Tebow returned as an analyst to the ESPN Network recently after being dropped by the Philadelphia Eagles NFL team in the pre-season.

Tebow lost the bid for third-string quarterback of the east coast professional team, with the Eagles choosing instead to pick Matt Barkley.

"Tim quickly developed into an excellent analyst last year, and we were not shy about acknowledging his home at ESPN should he be available to return," ESPN Executive Vice President John Wildhack said in a recent statement, as reported by The Christian Post.

Tebow has previously said that although he would like to once again play professional football, he does not feel stressed about the pressure to join a team, as he lives by God's plan.

"That's not something I worry about to be honest. I worry about what I can control and that's come out and improve every day, enjoy the process, count your blessings and work extremely hard," Tebow told NJ.com earlier this month during an Eagles practice. "You know something I always try to practice is be anxious for nothing, but let your request be known to God. That's how I try to handle that.''

After Tebow was cut from the Eagles, he shared a message of gratitude on his Twitter, writing: "Thanks @Eagles and Coach Kelly for giving me the opportunity to play the game I love! Romans 8:28 #Blessed."
