An NFL kicker recently slammed professional athlete Tim Tebow after he signed a contract with the Philadelphia Eagles for the 2015 season.

In a recent panel discussion on "Jim Rome on Showtime," NFL kicker Jay Feely, who is currently a free agent, said that although he respects Tebow as a person, he's surprised he was picked up by the Eagles because he is the "single worst quarterback" he's seen in his career.

"He's such a dichotomy for me because I really respect the person, the man, the things that he believes in and the things he does off the field […] he was the single worst quarterback I ever saw in my career in the NFL," Feely said.

Feely then recalled a instance during Tebow's time with the Denver Broncos when he saw the professional athlete make incomplete passes during a drill that had no defensive pressure.

"I watched him one day […] I sat and watched him do routes on air with Ken Whisenhunt as we were playing the Broncos," Feely said. "And routes on air, there's no [defensive pressure]— you know exactly what he's going to run — there's no pass rush. He had like 13 incompletions on routes on air. Jim, you and I could go out and do routes on air and we would complete most of our passes."

Details regarding Tebow's recently-signed Philadelphia Eagles contract indicate that there is no guaranteed extra money for the player, should he be dropped from the Eagles. Rather, Tebow was given a standard $660,000 base salary that he will receive in weekly increments if he makes the team.
