Willie Robertson Says He 'Cried' After Viewing 'Duck Commander' Musical

Willie Robertson of "Duck Dynasty" fame recently admitted that he cried after viewing the musical "Duck Commander," which is currently in production in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Robertson recently admitted that viewing the musical brought tears to his eyes because it reminded him of all the difficult decisions he and his family had to make together to get to where they are today. Robertson is the CEO of the "Duck Commander" duck call business and he and his family star on the A&E reality series "Duck Dynasty." 

"It's emotional at times," Willie recently told Fox411 during a backstage visit to the "Duck Commander" set in Las Vegas. "I was crying watching it because you just think about if something were to happen differently, then none of this would have happened."

Robertson told Fox that one particularly emotional moment of the play happens when the play shows the intense media scrutiny the Robertson family went through, including when Willie's father, Phil Robertson received criticism for comments he made regarding homosexuality to GQ Magazine.

"The media scrutiny and all this thing we went through, all that's played out in the musical," Willie told the media outlet.

Robertson recently told The Christian Post that he thinks his family's "Duck Commander" play has the perfect venue in Las Vegas.

"There are a lot of things in Vegas, and our musical gives somebody something to do that they know they can trust," Robertson recently told The Christian Post. "They can know that they can go to ['The Duck Commander Musical'] with their families and spouses and not be embarrassed. I remember seeing a show just amongst friends [...] we saw things that were inappropriate, but you can go to the musical and it's safe."
